Campaign Story

My name is Cartia and I am 37 years old. My husband, who is 36, and I have spent years holding onto hope as we try to build the family we so deeply desire. What we believed would be a joyful and natural journey has instead been filled with heartbreak, uncertainty, and resilience we never knew we possessed. After trying to conceive naturally for several years, we pursued fertility treatment and completed six IUI cycles. Each attempt carried hope, and each failure brought profound disappointment. I face fertility related medical challenges and obstacles that have made this journey especially difficult. Multiple medical providers have confirmed that IVF is our best and most realistic chance of becoming parents. The emotional toll of infertility is something that is hard to put into words. It has affected us mentally, physically, and emotionally, yet our desire to become parents has never wavered. Unfortunately, the financial burden of IVF and the required medications places this option far out of reach for us. Although we have health insurance, it does not cover IVF treatment, leaving us with no viable way forward on our own.Despite the years of setbacks and exhaustion, I refuse to give up. My husband and I are ready to love, nurture, and grow our family. A grant would not just provide financial support; it would give us renewed hope and the opportunity to finally move forward on a path that has felt closed for far too long.
