Campaign Story

We are Isaac and Victoria , we have been married since 2011 and this is a short summary of our journey towards having children. 
Around age 29 Isaac was diagnosed with off the charts low testosterone, which is unusual for someone so young. So we began trying different treatment options to get Isaac’s level into the normal range. The treatments were successful and helped Isaac to be able to thrive, we saw great improvements in his energy and overall well being. Unfortunately, the side effect was infertility. We began a treatment for him of hcg and clomid to cause the body to start up sperm production again. 

The treatment was moderately successful and Isaac’s fertility ,though not normal numbers, did increase. At this time ,around 2019, we tried to conceive naturally though the chances were low. We had no luck and when Covid hit the medications became expensive and often unavailable. 

At that time, we had a consultation with a fertility clinic and they assured us they could get the medication consistently. However, we were not able to afford the medication or the IUI procedures. We are hopeful the treatments can work but we really need to be able to bear the continued cost to see it through.

We feel very happy with the stability and strength of our marriage and are very desirous to give our love to a child of our own. We have always loved children and we greatly enjoy investing in those children that are in our lives now. Though many of the obstacles we have faced that we did not see coming have been disheartening, we nevertheless have remained focused on pursuing having a child of our own.
