Campaign Story

Hello! My name is LaKevia Swincicki and my husband’s name is Joshua Swincicki. Joshua and I have been building our life together for about six years. We met at a time I consider to be a difficult time in both our lives. Thru the storms we have managed to create a stable and comfortable life for us along with his two beautiful daughters, four pugs, two cats and a bird. I know it seems quite much but it works for us.

One thing we have been working hard on for the past six years is creating our together bug. I was diagnosed with PCOS in my early twenties and it has been a rollercoaster. We tried to conceive naturally for about four years and for the past two years we tried IUI with three unsuccessful cycles. This is what leads us to our last option of IVF. Due to my age however we will have to undergo genetic testing which adds additional out of pocket expenses. Both my husband and I have insurance but nothing is covered so everything will be out of pocket for us. The financial side has always been a determining factor and time unfortunately is not on our side. Without any additional help our chances of creating our together bug continues to diminish.

The two of us have worked very hard together to accomplish many things but in order to achieve our goal this time we have no choice but to reach out for additional support. Anything would help as we embark on “Our Bugs Journey.”
