Campaign Story

Growing up in foster care, I never really had a place to call home. I moved from house to house, always searching for stability and the sense of belonging that comes with family. As a single gay man, these experiences shaped my deepest wish: to create a loving family of my own, to give a child the warmth and security I missed out on for so much of my life.

For the past 16 years, I have dedicated my life to working with children. In classrooms, programs, and everyday moments, I’ve poured my heart into helping them grow, learn, and feel supported. That experience has only deepened my passion and confirmed what I’ve always known, I want the opportunity to nurture and love a child of my own, to create the kind of safe, stable, and joyful home every child deserves.

Now, I am taking the first steps toward making that dream a reality. I am in the process of creating an embryo and beginning the surrogacy journey. This path is filled with hope, but it also comes with overwhelming costs that are difficult to manage alone. The funds raised here will go directly toward surrogacy expenses, helping me move closer to welcoming a child into my life and building the family I have always dreamed of.

I understand that some may question my desire to start a family because of my sexuality or because I am single. I hold no judgment in my heart.
