Campaign Story

My name is Christina Guardabasco and I suffer from PCOS. I have been with my husband Joseph for 19 years. We have been multuple miscarriages since starting our journey to become parents. We have done the full extend of testing to figure out what the concerns were. We attempted an IUI procedure but were not aware that the flu and the medications prescribed could effect the quality of Joseph’s samples. The practice had us proceed but were very comfident that it would not be successful. This was heartbreaking that the flu would be the reason we would not be successful. We have tried on our own for the last 5 years. The cost of another cycle or trying IVF is all that is stopping us from proceeding. We can support a beautiful baby it’s just us needing medical intervention to possibly have a chance. We are two hard working adults. We have opened our home to rescued and abandoned animals, helping our veterans and the community. We purchased our home in hopes that we would be blessed.
We have lived our lives helping others and being supportive of the people around us. We are hoping that people will support us in this journey. Every tiny bit helps. I know this is a big ask but we are hoping the way we have lived our lives will shower us with the same support we have shown others.
