Campaign Story

My name is Tykitta and my wife’s name is Kayla. We have been together for 5yrs now, married for 2yrs. I came into this relationship with children from a previous relationship. When I was 27, my doctor ordered me to have tubal ligation surgery, which resulted in me not being able to have children the old fashion way. Well, God has a funny sence of humor, because I ended up finding Kayla, falling in love and getting married. So having a baby ”the old fashion way” went out the window a long time ago. The great news is, with modern day science, two women can have a baby, YES! I said it. Its possible. And guess what? we both get a chance to contribute to the baby’s DNA. This process is called Reciprocal IVF.

With Reciprocal IVF, Kayla’s eggs, combined with our donor eggs, then transferred into my uterus, could gives us our very own child. How cool is that? Two women having a baby was never possible until now. Kayla and I would love to go though this process together and with you guys love and support,  it’s possible. The only thing is, the treatment is costly, which is why we are using ”Gift of ParentHood to help us raise money for the procedure.

We are asking for donations to help us cover some of the cost! We know money is tight and times are hard, so we are greatful for whatever amount you bless us with.
