My name is Tekiera, and for many years I have carried a dream deep in my heart—the dream of becoming a mother and experiencing pregnancy for myself.

This journey has been far more than simply wanting a baby. It has been years of praying, planning, researching, growing, and preparing myself emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially for the day I could begin building the family I have always dreamed of.

As someone in a same-sex relationship, my path to motherhood comes with unique challenges, especially financially. The process of IVF, fertility treatments, donor expenses, medications, appointments, and everything that comes with bringing life into this world can feel overwhelming. Even so, my desire to become a mother has never changed.

At the same time, I am working hard to build stability in my life. I am focused on being financially responsible, continuing my education, working toward my career, and creating a safe and loving home where my future child can thrive. My partner and I are also working toward getting our own place so we can build our life independently, free from difficult living situations, outside pressures, and the feeling of being held back from fully stepping into the future we envision.

This journey has not always been easy. There have been setbacks, emotional conversations, sacrifices, waiting, and moments of uncertainty. But through it all, one thing has remained constant—my heart for motherhood.

I am humbly asking for support as I take this next step toward bringing my dream to life. Every donation, prayer, share, and word of encouragement means more than I can express. Your support is not just helping with medical expenses—it’s helping me move closer to becoming the mother I have dreamed of being for so long.
