My partner and I have tried to get pregnant for the last 3 years . We have gotten many test done to make sure we are both fertile, how ever my labs showed high prolactin levels ,2 years ago .(Prolactin is a hormone released by the pituitary gland. The pituitary is a small gland at the base of the brain. It regulates the body’s balance of many hormones. Too much prolactin reduces the production of the hormones estrogen and testosterone. Too much prolactin also can prevent the release of an egg during the menstrual cycle cycle(anovulation)in females. )Then, a MRI Showed a tumor of the pituitary gland that isn’t cancer but can cause vision problems, infertility and other health issues.

We have spent thousands of dollars treating the brain tumor so that we could be able to convince our very desired child , However now that my brain tumor is under control and we have gotten the green light from the doctors to start trying, I still haven’t been able to get pregnant naturally.

We have decided it’s time to consider the help of a fertility professional. We went to our initial consultation and looking at the financial part is very overwhelming.
