Campaign Story

My name is Meneka, and for eight wonderful years, I’ve been married to my loving husband, Anthony. Together, we hold a deep and hopeful dream: to become parents and welcome a child into our family.

Our journey to grow our family has been longer and more challenging than we ever imagined. After years of trying, we sought answers. One specialist told us everything was fine, leaving us confused. Two years later, another found an abnormality in one of my fallopian tubes, recommending its removal and suggesting IVF. Seeking another opinion, my gynecologist advised removing only the one tube, assuring us the other was healthy. During that surgery in December 2024, she also removed cysts and found signs of endometriosis, but she was hopeful we could conceive naturally. We held onto that hope tightly. Yet, another twelve months have passed, and every test remains heartbreakingly negative.

This path has tested us in every way. The dream of motherhood has felt painfully out of reach, and at times, the sadness and uncertainty weighed heavily on my heart and our marriage. Through faith, Anthony’s unwavering support, and professional help during my lowest days, I’ve found strength and a renewed sense of hope. We believe our family is still meant to grow.

Now, IVF is our clearest path forward, but it comes with a significant financial barrier. Neither of our insurance plans cover any fertility treatments. We’ve always managed on our own, but the cost of IVF is beyond what we can shoulder alone. Your support would directly fund our treatment, bringing us one monumental step closer to holding our baby.
