Campaign Story

Hi my name is Pamela and my husband name is Terris. We are the Brooks Family. We have been trying to have a baby for over 7 years and, due to my cancer cells and removal of my tubes IVF is the only option we have on the table. We could not get pregnant the nature way, they tried to removal my uterus as well but I told them NO because I was going to have a baby. We started our first IVF in 2022, we had a successful second round and I got pregnant we were so excited. We had a baby 5/12/23 at 5:12pm we knew right then and there she was a blessing. She was born with a congenital heart disease so she had to have a big major heart surgery one day. On 4/9/24 she had her heart surgery day, and we never left the hospital. As her mom I never left her side while my husband continue to work to pay bills, which put us in a big financial bind but our main focus was our baby health. On 11/19/24 we had to say goodbye to our beautiful baby girl who took her last breath and fought a long fight. Our hearts and dreams was crush of being able to be a family of 3 again. We want to be able to not give up on our dreams as becoming parents and being a family of 3, 4, or 5. With this still being fresh we know we want to be able to go through the process again but know we need help this year to try and have that beautiful healthy Rainbow baby we prayed about.
