Alyssa shares her unique and heartfelt journey, starting with the birth of her daughter, Paisley, followed by her separation from her first partner. Her husband, Tyler, also went through a similar experience, having a daughter, Eleni, before their relationship ended. Five years ago, Alyssa made the life-changing decision to become a surrogate. During her pregnancy, she met Tyler, who immediately embraced her and her daughter. After a successful pregnancy and delivery, Alyssa faced a tragic health issue—hemorrhaging due to placenta accreta, which led to a hysterectomy. This left her and Tyler grieving their inability to have a child together.
Determined to help others, Alyssa became an egg donor, completing five rounds. However, during her last donation, she suffered an ovarian rupture and had to have her left ovary removed. Now, two years later, Alyssa and Tyler are hoping to grow their family. They plan to use Alyssa’s eggs and Tyler’s sperm but need help finding a gestational carrier and funding for IVF. They are seeking support from others to help make their dream of having a baby come true after facing infertility.
