Campaign Story

Our names are Reginald and Vanessa, and we’re writing with hopeful hearts, dreaming of the day we can finally hold our baby girl in our arms. This journey to parenthood has been filled with love, faith, and more challenges than we ever imagined—but we refuse to give up on our dream of completing our family.

In 2022, we began IVF after learning that Vanessa couldn’t carry a pregnancy herself. My incredible sister selflessly stepped forward to be our surrogate, offering us the gift of hope. Together, we’ve poured everything into this journey—emotionally, physically, and financially. We’ve endured the highs and lows of fertility treatments, the joy of creating two precious embryos, and the heartbreak of losing one of our babies to miscarriage. Through it all, we’ve held onto faith, knowing our little Baby Lyric is still waiting for her chance to join our family.

So far, we’ve spent over $53,000 on IVF, medications, legal fees, travel, and insurance—every dollar a sacrifice made with love. Now, we’re reaching out for help to cover the final steps: transferring our last remaining embryo to our surrogate. This is our last chance to bring our daughter home, and we can’t do it alone.
