Hi my name is Ami-Alisabeth Klein and my husband is Andrew Klein. Andrew and I have been together since high school so going on 16 years. Four years ago we decided we wanted to start our family but unfortunately we’re diagnosed with unexplained infertility. Over the course of the next 3 years we went through various infertility treatments with no success. After the last year we decided to take a break and enjoy like and get back to “normal”. During that year we traveled, hung out with friends and family and enjoyed life. That summer we found out I was pregnant and were ecstatic, our dream of having a family was going to come true. Unfortunately for us that was not the case. I wound up having a miscarriage at 12 weeks. This was the lowest point in our lives, the one thing we wanted most was taken from us. Over the course of the next two years we tried to convince naturally it would not work. This is takes us to the present, about 4 weeks ago I was taken to the hospital for sever abdominal pain to only find out I have stage 2 endometriosis and one of my cysts ruptured. I had surgery to remove my cysts but it left me with severely scarred fallopian tubes and uterus. Our doctor told us our really only chance of having a child would to be conceive through IVF. As you know IVF is not covered under any insurance and has to be paid up front before the specialist will even see you. We are looking for any help to make our dream of having a family possible!
