Campaign Story

Hello my name is Julia and my husband’s name is John and this is our story. Shortly after we married we were blessed with a wonderful little girl. Although we had a child fairly quickly into our marriage we always wanted to expand our family. For the past 3 years we have been struggling with having our second child and have tried everything available up until this point. With countless IUI appointments, tests and hormone injections we have discovered that my husband has been rendered infertile due to his work in the military and the environment he has to work in every day. We attempted to go through the military healthcare system and were hoping they would cover IVF treatments however they do not and we will have to cover the costs to expand our family on our own. This has left us absolutely heartbroken as we have always dreamed about having two children who can grow up together and always look out for each other. Our daughter asks us constantly when she will be a big sister and we did not realize that accomplishing this dream would be so difficult, stressful and with our insurance not covering any of the treatment, unattainable. We are looking for any help and would be extremely appreciative of any prayers or donations that can aid us in reaching our goal of having another child so our daughter can be a big sister.
