Campaign Story

My Daughter and her Husband have been trying and praying for their bundle of joy since they were married in 2019. They are such a wonderful couple and if you know them, you know that they will go out of their way to help others around them. They have so much love between them, and still have so much more to give. By donating to this fundraiser, you are helping give a very deserving couple the chance to start the family they have longed for.

Here is their story:

Landen and Kimberly have been together for 10 years now and have been married for a little over 5 of those years. They began trying for Baby Cavin in August of 2019 and tried to conceive naturally for 3 years before seeking help through a local fertility clinic in the summer of 2022. They began with Ovulation Induction (OI) cycles. The first time trying, it worked. They received their first positive pregnancy test and were overjoyed. Unfortunately, this ended in a biochemical miscarriage. After that heartbreak they decided to try OI two additional times with no success.

Their doctor then had them try Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) cycles. Again, the first time trying this new method worked and they had their second positive test. They made it a week further this time before having another biochemical miscarriage. They tried IUI two additional times and ended up pregnant again on the third try. They made it the furthest they ever did during this try, 8 whole weeks before it ended it yet another heartbreaking miscarriage. Kimberly ended up having to have a D&C procedure as her body did not pass the miscarriage as it should.

After this, their doctor suggested that IVF would be the best chance for them. As you may know, IVF is very expensive and such a grueling process. Kimberly and Landen applied for a local grant through their fertility clinic and did receive some funding to help them begin the IVF process. They now have 4 embryos frozen but unfortunately ran out of funds before being able to try their first transfer.

Somehow, while being on Birth control during the egg retrieval process Kimberly got pregnant again, but it ended in another early biochemical miscarriage. They have since stopped the fertility treatments earlier this year, as they do not have the financial capability to continue with the IVF cycle.

Kimberly and Landen have been through so much the last 2 years since beginning fertility treatments. 3 OI cycles, 3 IUI cycles & 4 unfortunate & heartbreaking miscarriages. They are holding on to hope and want more than anything to have that chance to have the family they have longed for all these years. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read their story and helping this deserving couple begin their family.
