Hello, my name is Elizabeth, I am 34-year-old women from Minnesota. In 2008 I had gotten pregnant and loss the baby at 3 months, then in 2018 I got pregnant again and lost the baby at 5 weeks. Since 2008 we have been trying to get pregnant and it has not happened, due to the number of attempts, watching ovulation test and the times I thought I was pregnant because minstrel was almost a month late, taking test after test and even went to the doctor and the test was negative, someone mentioned getting an HSG done. An HSG is when the Dr. inserts a catheter into the cervix then push contrast through so it can flush out the fallopian tubes. On the first attempt the Dr. could not get the catheter in my cervix to see my fallopian tubes, I was prescribed with medicine to soften the cervix, after completing the meds I returned to the doctor for the second HSG attempt. During this HSG attempt the Dr. was able to get into my cervix and push the contrast through (this really hurts), the problem I am experiencing is, my fallopian tubes did not allow the contrast freely to flow through to flush the fallopian tubes, it was stuck in the fallopian tubes making my fallopian tubes swell like balloons, which means they are scared and useless and the only way for me to get pregnant is to extract my eggs and complete the IVF treatment. I have now gone for my consultation for the IVF treatment, and we are deciding to freeze my eggs so if the treatment does not work this time I can try again with a more affordable cost.
