Campaign Story

First and for most we would like to thank everyone in advance for allowing us the opportunity to be heard during such a difficult time in our lives. This is something that we’ve struggled with sharing to others for years. We are Victor and Ebonee Coudayre. I’m 33 years old and Victor is 34. We work in retail, and we’re from a small southern town in South Carolina. We have been married for six years. To say that we are soulmates would be a understatement. Not only is he the love of my life, but he is my best friend. In June of 2019 Victor and I purchased our first home. This was the most exciting time of our lives. We felt as if we were finally building the foundation for our future children that we both never had growing up. Together we picked a four bedroom home with hopes of filling those rooms with our own children one day. We had no idea of my condition and for the last three years we have been struggling with infertility. In September of 2021 I was diagnosed with hydrosalpinx. This is basically a condition where your fallopian tubes no longer function the way they are suppose to. Thus making it more difficult to conceive naturally. Since I was a young woman I have always had my heart set on raising a big family. Being that Victor and I both come from such large households you can imagine our devastation once we heard the news of my condition. Although we were very hurt from the news, our specialist was able to offer us an alternative. I was told IVF (in vitro fertilization) would be my best and only option at this point. After running a few test we were able to determine our success probability. Also, I am within a good age range for a higher chance for a successful pregnancy. I’m healthy, I’m able, and I am willing to do the work. We ask that you hear our hearts and bless us with the opportunity to fill at least one of these rooms with a child of our own. Thank you.
