Hello, I am Tashina Adams, and I have been on a journey to have kids with my husband for 11 years now. I was diagnosed with PCOS around 2016 and Endometriosis in 2018. I assumed the issue was on my end because of these two diagnosis. I received two surgeries for Endometriosis in hopes that might help my infertility issues. Fast forward to last year when I finally had the nerve to go see a fertility specialist and get to the bottom of it all. After a few test, lab work, and a consultation, my doctor figured out the issue is on my husband’s end. There is no reason I can’t get pregnant on my end from her point of view. My husband has a low sperm count and has not been able to get it to a sustainable level to have kids naturally.
We are both in our thirties, and this is our final attempt to have kids before considering fostering or adopting. We are blessed to have been accepted into the Gordon Gift of Life which covers a lot of the cost. But unfortunately there are still a few thousand of dollars that won’t be covered. We hope to raise enough money to cover the cost and make our dreams of having kids come true!
