Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Justine. We started our fertility journey last year in November 2022 after we got married and it has been quite a journey so far. After we found out my husband was unable to have children we went the route of doing 2 medicated IUI’s with a donor, which the second one resulted in an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. After searching for a new clinic we were able to discover that my husband in fact can bring a child into this world but would only be possible with IVF. After a body reset we switched to IVF and have done 1 full round which consisted of stimulation meds, egg retrieval and 1 failed frozen embryo transfer. We are currently trying to move on to our second frozen embryo transfer but don’t have the funds to do so. I am a speech language pathologist assistant that works to help children with autism and other related disabilities have a voice. While Pierce is the ultimate providing family man. Not only is he a building inspector but he also provides care to his elderly mom. We love being an aunt and uncle to our amazing nephews and niece but would love to have one of our own. Time to upgrade from fur parents to human parents.

As you may know, these types of treatments, including IVF, are very expensive. We work very hard but the expense of infertility treatments goes beyond our incomes. For this reason, we are asking for help from their friends, family and through social networks to help make our dreams of having a family become a reality.
