Campaign Story

My name is Janet and I am single mom to an amazing daughter. I am looking to expand our family and give my daughter the sibling she and I both long for. I’m a disabled combat military veteran, and the extensive sexual trauma I endured as a child and in the military has made using a sperm donor the only way for me to achieve my dream of having a family. I was able to use IUI fertility treatments to have my daughter 4 years ago, and now I am wanting to do the same for one more child with the same donor. However, after several unsuccessful IUIs, IVF is now the only route left for me to have another child.  I am no stranger to pregnancy loss and the struggle to not only conceive, but to carry full term. IVF is my only hope. Currently the VA only offers IVF treatment to married veterans, and not single women, despite being able to serve as a single woman. I would be forever grateful for any donation to try make this dream a reality. Thank you!
