Campaign Story

My husband and I are still on our baby journey. Never thought I would still be on this journey into my 40’s but sometimes waiting for the right person you want to share DNA with takes longer than you expect. We have been trying for 5 years now with no success. I thought it was my weight so I had weight loss surgery and lost over 100lbs. We got pregnant, it was ectopic and ruined my left tube. We then started on our IVF journey and started with 11 eggs that turned into 8 embryos that ended up being 2 healthy boy embryos and both failed to implant on 2 separate implantations. I had surgery to try and correct my tubes and was told that I only had one functioning tube. We then decided to try naturally again since IVF was crazy expensive and unaffordable to try a second round. We were so happy to find out I was pregnant again and then found out it was another ectopic the Friday before Mother’s Day. I thought this year I could actually celebrate this day instead of being sad but it turned into our worst nightmare. This time the ectopic was in my only working tube and it had now ruined that one. I had another tubal correction surgery that ended up not being successful. So here we are with no working tubes and the only chance for us the have a baby is to try another round of IVF that we have no way to afford. We still try and stay positive even though our world is crumbling around us. We are trying to raise funds to help support us through another round of IVF in hopes that we get our miracle.
