Campaign Story

My name is Heather, and my husband and I have dreamed of becoming parents for as long as we can remember. But our journey to grow our family has been filled with challenges we never expected.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis at just 14 years old, and for years, I’ve lived with the pain and uncertainty it brings. At 28, things took a frightening turn when a large ovarian cyst grew into my appendix, leaving me dangerously ill. I lost my ovary, fallopian tube, and appendix in emergency surgery—a loss that made pregnancy feel even further out of reach.

Despite the odds, we refused to give up. We poured our hearts—and our savings—into multiple rounds of IVF, even exhausting our employer’s one-time fertility benefits. Each attempt brought hope, followed by heartbreak. But we still believe our miracle is possible.

Now, we’re turning to our community for help. The cost of another IVF cycle is overwhelming, but it’s our best chance at bringing a baby into our arms. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to that dream.
