Campaign Story

Hello! We are Michael and Desirae. We’ve been together since 2014 and coming up on our 9th wedding anniversary this May! We have always discussed adding to our little family. We have one child who is biologically Michael’s. We started our fertility journey in 2019 and were faced with more obstacles than we imagined. We have since went through surgery, numerous fertility supplements, multiple medicated monthly time cycles and 3 rounds of IUI. This experience is just a small part of our story that has brought us both a lot of hope but also heartache along with it. Between the mental load and everyday life our timeline may have shifted but never our dream of becoming a parent to another.
This fundraiser is to help cover some of the cost of the medical proceed and the medication along with it. We are committed to making this happen but are asking our village to stand with us. Your gift, no matter how small will help us get one step closer to adding a child into our arms and our village.
