Campaign Story

Hi, my name is Courtney Reeves and my husband and I are looking forward to having the opportunity of being parents one day. We have struggled with infertility for the entirety of our marriage. We have overcame a lot together. My husbands dad passed away in December of 2020 and my mom passed away March of 2021. They were both our best friends, but we have picked up the pieces and continued to move forward in life.

Now, we have the obstacle of infertility. I am 34 with a diminished ovarian reserve and recurring cysts on my ovaries. We have gone through hundreds of fertility tests and finally got our insurances to approve me seeing a fertility specialist. After building a relationship with my current fertility specialist we have come to the realization that IVF is our only option. IVF will cost us just under $40,000.

As an educator my independent school district did not purchase the fertility package for our insurance. My husbands insurance will cover IUI and fertility medication, but we are not candidates for IUI. We are hopeful that one day soon we will be able to start our IVF journey.
