Campaign Story

Hello! My name is Emilie, and the handsome man in the photo along side me is my husband Travis. We have been happily married for what will be 11 years this summer! Travis is a farmer and I am a recent nurse graduate. Actually, two weeks after completing orientation from my first nursing job, (covid RN) I learned that I HAD cancer. To put things modestly, our lives have been pretty rocky since October! Luckily, we were able to quickly produce and freeze a few embryos before I underwent my cancer treatment. I am currently recovering from a hysterectomy/lymphadenectomy- and my lymph nodes came back clean, meaning I am now cancer free!!! My husband and I would love to get started on our surrogacy journey, since we have our little embryos ready and waiting! With all of the unexpected expenses, time off work, and the recent curve balls we have endured, a little help will go a long way. We have been wanting a family for years, but no children ever came… Now with the ability to have one of our own, we are extremely ready to get things started! With luck and a little help, hopefully we can be parents while still in our late 30’s! Fingers crossed! Thank you for considering us.
