My name is Ellise, and my greatest dream is to become a mother—to hold my own child in my arms and know they’re mine forever. For years, I’ve loved and cared for other people’s children as if they were my own, but deep down, I’ve always longed for a baby with my DNA, a little one I can raise and cherish without fear of losing them.

My journey hasn’t been easy. I have PCOS, which makes getting pregnant naturally nearly impossible, and the fear of miscarriage has weighed heavily on my heart. As a lesbian, I’ve built a life full of love, but the path to motherhood feels uncertain and expensive. Fertility treatments like IVF are my best chance, but the costs are overwhelming—medications, procedures, and appointments add up quickly.
