Campaign Story

Nice to meet you!! Thank you for coming across my page. My name is Lea, I am One of the 10% of women who struggle with PCOS, if you’re unaware what that stands for it is polycystic ovarian disease. I feared with this diagnosis, I would be unable to have children, I come from a very large family. My father is one of 10. So my dream has always been to be a mother one day. And after three miscarriages and six years of trying to conceive thankfully with the help of IVF And God I Have had My daughter and she is such a blessing. And although IVF is not easy, I knew I would do It all over again if I needed to. I do have two more embryos And my dream is to have one more Child, because of my condition I cannot get pregnant the traditional way so I will have to do IVF one last time, and because IVF is so costly I have turned to this resource to help me achieve this goal. Wooh…as if the story could get any longer. I am thanking god for the embryos I do have, this month (October) I found out after a year of testing I have yet one more challenging factor. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis, one more thing that makes it harder to get pregnant, tricky to manage, and uncertain if ivf will work but when your faced with,”the condition will only get worse” or “A hysterectomy will fix it” it definitely gives you all of the ambition you need to try. So here we are! Ivf one more time in hopes it works. Then a hysterectomy it is!

I’m one that always.. or Atleast tries to see the brighter side of every situation. And in life I know it tends to always rain on the people who deserve the sunshine. ☀️ So one serenity prayer at a time and a community of women who I know just get it’ will help me through some of the toughest times. Everyone knows how extremely hard this is for me as I’m typically a closed book, someone that will starve before asking for help, but this process and platform has taught me that it’s ok to share your story. And it’s ok to need help. I am, and will always be so grateful for the supportive people in my life that keep me going! Thank you a million times!
