Hi, and thank you for taking the time to read our story.

My name is Carmela. I’m a therapist, a wife, and someone who has been quietly and persistently navigating the deeply emotional and financial challenges of infertility.

Over the past several years, my husband and I have invested over $50,000 into fertility treatments — including egg retrievals, medications, testing, and multiple embryo transfers. We’ve done everything we possibly could within our means, even tapping into our retirement savings, which is something we never thought we’d have to do. Despite all of this, we are still waiting for the chance to bring a child into our lives.

We are now preparing for what may be our final attempt to grow our family through IVF.

We are seeking to raise $30,000 to cover the cost of another IVF cycle and transfer package. This includes medication, anesthesia, lab fees, and other clinical costs necessary to complete this next — and likely last — round. Unfortunately, we can no longer finance another cycle on our own.

We’ve put immense thought, planning, and emotional preparation into this next step. We’ve learned from every past cycle, and we’re working closely with our medical team to do everything possible to give this final attempt the best chance.
