Hi, My name is Denny and I am a gay man who is almost 30 years old. I have worked in the healthcare industry for a decade helping those in need when they have needed It the most. Through a global pandemic and many other situations.

Growing up without a father instilled something deep into me around having children and ensuring they know what it’s like to be loved by two parents who want and love them as-well as having a stable foundation to thrive in.

For most of my life I have known I have always wanted children but have been faced with the financial burden of making this a reality whilst trying to build a life, a career and fight through the daily battles of life expenses.

Whilst I have achieved the successful career and finally a lovely home and a beautiful, stable relationship, the cherry on the Bakewell is still a far reach.

For years I have had many friends offer to help with surrogacy but with that comes a lot of financial implications depending on the country used for treatment.

This year myself and my partner have agreed that now is the time, we both want to become parents, are able to provide all the requirements for a child and are trying to using the tools available to us to try to raise some funds to make this possible.

My sister-in-law will be our surrogate and we have the option available to use an anonymous egg donor matching our phenotype. She will not be able to be an egg donor as she has children with my brother.

With the success rate of embryo transfer around 70%, it’s advised that we have more than one blastocyst. The package we have opted for is an “optimum package” which gives us 3 attempts.

The cost for this treatment without the surrogate fee’s and legal fee’s are 16’000 EUR. Additionally, the surrogate fee’s are a further 10-16’000 depending on how many babies are carried as there is also a chance of twins/triplets.

The total cost of our treatment is estimated to be around 30-35’000 providing it’s successful.

Whilst we understand having children is a luxury, we sadly don’t have the option of natural conception and are reaching out to see if anyone can help make our dream a reality and help with the gift of life.
