Campaign Story

I was with my 2 children’s father for 10 years and he convinced me we were done having children and that I should get my tubes removed after having a 3rd ectopic pregnancy resulting in my first miscarriage. I reluctantly agreed although I didn’t know if I was done having children at that time. I was only 26-27 years old at the time but we were engaged and high school sweethearts and I believed him when he said that was our forever family. He left shortly after the miscarriage and I had to start over. 2 years later I am now engaged again to a man to only has a step-daughter and no biological children and we are wanting to add a last member to our family of mine and his. My insurance does not cover the full cost of IVF and he does not have insurance at this time and we are low income. We already have a name picked for a boy or girl and hope to begin treatment at a local facility near us in Kentucky in either Lexington or Louisville fall of 2027.
