Campaign Story

My Name is Nichole, I have PCOS which has been an issue my whole life. I am not over weight so life style changes could be great for me although, I do not need to lose weight and my insulin levels are ok. My Mother, Sister , Grandmother etc have all been Diagnosed as well. My mother had 5 children and had no issues after seeing here PCP the first time. In my case I do not have a cycle, I can go years without one. I never understood it but was put on birth control my whole life to regulate my periods.

This worked for me but when it came down to trying to conceive it was not working. My Husband and I have been together 10 years now and Married for 3. All 3 years we have tried to conceive with natural remedies to medications. To bring you back a little bit. My husband and I lost our fathers a year apart from each other in the 3 years we have been trying. Husbands father we found after having a Heart attack in his 50’s. My father was diagnosed with Liver Cancer , A couple weeks later I found him in his bed. After giving him CPR and waiting on the EMT to arrive I realized he was gone.

We have had a lot of life altering experiences in the past couple of years but also we have been trying to have a family. We could never replace the ones that are gone but to add more to keep our family going would be amazing. We were the first of our friends to get married and have been the last to have a child. We are not comparing or trying keep up but we hurt during the amazing experiences our friends are going through, Even though we are so excited for them it hurts so bad.

In the end we just want to make memories have love for our child or children. Raise them to be amazing but most importantly to love because that is the most important thing in this world.
