Campaign Story

My name is Cheyenne, and my husband’s name is Jake. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2019 and I was told I likely will not be able to get pregnant without assistance. For those that don’t know, PCOS can not only be debilitating physically, but also mentally. The constant pain of not being able to get pregnant and start a family of our own is indescribable. We have been on our “baby journey” for coming up on 6 years with no luck. It has been decided by my doctors and us, that our next step is IUI. And just when you think things can’t get any harder, they can. September of 2020 my husband was in a very bad motorcycle accident which resulted in him being permanently disabled. Since then, I have lost my insurance coverage that would have paid for IUI and other treatments. We now have to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket just to achieve our dream of having a family. I have survived this debilitating medical condition because I am a fighter; however, my fight is not over.
