If you know Jason and Nikki, then you know that they are two of the most incredible people you will ever meet. They both have been dealt so many hurdles in their lives. Both have had to deal with the loss of their father one from sudden heart attack and the other from cancer at the age of 19, Both were sophomores in college. Their lives were altered for many years trying to grieve, finish college, and move forward without dad.

They began their journey towards parenthood 1.5 years ago, but it, unfortunately, didn’t go as planned. The last few years have held a rollercoaster of complex and challenging emotions. As you can imagine, or may have even experienced yourself, month after month of medications, procedures, and negative pregnancy tests have been mentally, emotionally, and financially hard. Despite this, their story is one of extraordinary resilience, hope, faith, trust and determination that God will bless them with a child of their own to love and nurture.

Jason and Nikki are now embarking on their next step in this journey: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). IVF offers hope towards their dreams of becoming parents. The financial burden of IVF be overwhelming and stressful.

Nikki’s dad said to her his last Christmas, “make sure you record this Christmas celebration so one day when you have my grandchild you can introduce them to me”. That video is still in the video recorder waiting for her to conceive and give birth to his grandchild. Your kindness, generosity, and compassion will help Nikki and Jason achieve the dream that provides them with the blessing of a child. Your contribution will not only help alleviate the financial strain of fertility treatments, but also shower them with the love, support and encouragement they need to continue moving forward. I told them both to read the poem “Footprints in the Sand” and allow God to carry them through this valley.
