Hello everyone, I’m Jazmine.
Picture this: A single mom with a heart as big as her dreams, a daughter who’s eagerly awaiting her promotion to older sister, asking daily, “When’s the baby coming, Mom?” and a foster parent who’s currently juggling the needs of a brilliant kid with special health care requirements. If that sounds like a reality show waiting to happen, you’re not far off!

By day, I work with children in the world of ABA using a compassionate care approach to work with children, helping them develop daily living skills and functional communication. After over seven years in the field, I’ve mastered turning challenging behaviors into teachable moments and making learning a positive experience. By night, I’m a private chef, stuff animals/toy doctor, snack distributor, emotional support specialist, transport coordinator, mystery solver, AKA I’m a foster resource parent and devoted mother proving that superhero capes aren’t just for comic books. Casually on weekends, I’m considered an adventurer who loves hiking, swimming, skating, and diving into creative arts

I’ve been working tirelessly to expand my family for the past year, but despite my best efforts (and maybe a little math confusion), the family expansion hasn’t quite taken off.

At 36, my biological clock is like a countdown timer that’s reaching its final stretch (36 isn’t consider too late for some, but my mother developed endometriosis in her late 30s which resulted in a hysterectomy hints my concerns and fear). My health insurance does not cover fertility treatments, but my determination and love for kids are off the charts, so I’ve financed myself. After several failed attempts and contributing (main source) to the dwindling of my savings account, I decided to ask for assistance. Although I might not be great at calculating fertility odds, I’m an expert at finding joy, humor, and meaningful lessons in every twist and turn of life.

Life has thrown me its fair share of curveballs, yet I always find a way to make the best with “the cards I’ve been dealt”. Your support and donations could turn my daughter’s dreams of being a big sister into reality and fill our home with even more laughter and love. *Background information. My daughter was apart of a twin pregnancy that resulted in a “singleton”. Although I’m aware it’s nothing I could have done to increase the chances of the twins survival, I often feel “sad” for her not being able to experience the joy of having a “partner in crime”. Thought my pregnancy with her I feared she wouldn’t make it, yet here she is with a personality as bright the sun and stars combined. Motherhood is a beautiful journey, and bonds between siblings are unmatched; I would love for a chance to grow my family and provide my daughter with the sibling she dreams of (even if they might annoy her when they arrive). Here, I go getting emotional, thank you for taking the time to read my post.
