Campaign Story

We are Jon and Bethany! We’ve been married for 5 1/2 years (since June 2016). We’ve always wanted children, but we decided to wait a couple years before trying, as it’s always such a blessing to have that time just the 2 of us. We have been trying to grow our family since August of 2018. By September 2020 we decided to start talking to a fertility specialist.  Through the next year and a half we went through 4 IUIs and several unsuccessful IVF treatments. We were able to have one egg retrieved through our last IVF treatment. Unfortunately it only grew for about 6 days as an embryo. Through this process, we have been left with an unexplained infertility diagnosis.

We are now prayerfully looking into egg adoption. We are excited about this possibility! With all the fertility treatments we’ve been through, we have used all of our fertility benefits through our insurance. We do not have any more fertility insurance to help us with our Egg Adoption.

To give you an idea of the expenses we are looking at:

Fresh Donor Egg is about $17,000
Embryo Transfer: about $4,000
Genetic Testing is $1,200 – $2,400
