Two tiny feet…one BIG adventure.

Hey there!

My name is Samantha and I am 35 years old. I made the big decision this year to become a single mother by choice and use donor sperm to achieve my dream of becoming a mother. I have so much love to give to this world and I have wished and prayed for a tiny piece of my heart to be able to walk on this Earth one day.

I started this journey back in January 2025. I have done FOUR rounds of IUI with no success and want to move forward with IVF. I have paid for my previous IUI treatments and donor sperm all out of pocket but now with IVF comes the big sticker shock! A single cycle of IVF will cost between $15,000 to $20,000. Having a family while facing infertility is already mentally and physically taxing and to have that financial barrier that may keep me from my dream, well it is heartbreaking as ever. My insurance only pays for some benefits like labs, some testing and ultrasounds. The procedures and medications will not be covered. While I work to save as much of my money as I possibly can (every dollar counts!), looking into a second job and researching and applying for every IVF grant possible, I would also be forever grateful to anyone who feels inclined to help me achieve this wonderful dream of mine!

And to my future Baby K- it may just be the two of us in the end but that will be more than enough and we will have our amazing family and friends as our support system!
