Campaign Story

My name is Katey, my husband Brian and I have prayed over the chance to have a child together. My husband prior to our marriage had a vasectomy and we knew their would be challenges from the beginning. We explored our options, have both had extensive testing and even with a vasectomy reversal we likely would be in the same spot, still needing to go through IVF due to his lab values. We moved from northern VA where both of our insurances covered IVF entirely to Alabama for my husbands career, where unfortunately IVF is not covered at all through our insurance. While we are lucky to have what we have, we weren’t expecting to endure the full cost and are thankful for any contribution toward our journey becoming parents together. We give all our thanks to God for allowing us to even be in this process.
