Campaign Story

My name is Julie and for years my partner Torey and I have tried for baby #2. I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility early 2023. I jumped through all the hoops, Torey and I ran through all the tests and everything came back “normal”. With the help of our doctor, we thought IUI would be perfect for our needs. Every month we tracked my egg follicles and went forward with the procedures, and after 7 failed tries the doctor said it was time to move on to IVF.

The price tag of IVF made Torey and I decide to keep trying on our own. After several months I finally got that positive test!! We were SO excited! Unfortunately, it turned out to be an ectopic pregnancy. I had to have an emergency surgery to have my fallopian tube removed. I then needed to remove my second fallopian tube due to chronic inflammation.

With all that, IVF is our last chance in giving our Ari (7) a sibling to grow up with. I thank you for taking the time in reading our story, if you are able to donate, great. If not even just sharing would be so helpful! We are not out of this fight yet.
