Campaign Story

Hello! My name is Katelyn. My husband Spencer and I were high school sweethearts and have been trying to conceive for over 4 years. I thought that part of the issue was that I was overweight and so I went through a health journey and lost over 100lbs. With out any luck we finally decided to seek help and to find out what the issue was. I was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. I have a endometrioma (growth) inside my right ovary that is large than a softball along with several other growths that have came in the way of me being able to become pregnant naturally. The recommended treatment plan for us is to collect my eggs, then have a surgeon go in to clean up the endometriosis as much as possible without taking away from my ability to carry a child. Then to go through with the rest of the IVF process.
Spencer’s biggest dream is to be a dad his is definitely the fun uncle and loves play with kids and it breaks me to know I am standing in the way of his dream.
We are building our home on the family farm and we can’t wait to be able to raise the 5th generation on the farm.
We do not like asking for help but with insurance not currently covering anything for IVF treatment we are running out of options.
Anything, even if it is only a $1 means everything to us. As it gets us $1 closer to our dream of having a family.
