Campaign Story

My name is Meghan, and my husband and I are struggling with fertility. We have been trying in and off for 3+ years, but I kept giving up because my mental health could not take the disappointment. My husband and I are both in the Army and though we are grateful for them paying for my fertility appointments they will not pay for IUI or IVF which is what we need. My husband has low counts and his semen is not able to reach my eggs which is unfortunate. There is nothing more in this world I want them to be a mother and it breaks my heart thinking of the amount of money it costs to bring a life into this world. We spent years thinking I was the reason we couldn’t have kids because my family has a history of it but in reality it is the male factor. My husband is such a great man and just found out he is being medically discharged because of and unknown illness and that will cut our income a significant amount. All I want is the chance to have a baby, any amount will help!
