Campaign Story

My name is Nicole and due to my partner Robert’s genetic condition NF1 we are advised not to have children naturally.
His condition effects the 17 chromosome and is 50% likely to pass down to a child and can have many complications including but not limited to skin discoloration, low muscle tone, blindness, tumors on nerves, shortened bones and cognitive delays.
We were so blessed to not pass this on to our first child Leyla, (which was a unplanned pregnancy) but we can not roll the dice again and put a baby in what could be a lifetime of pain and struggles.
We wish to have a second child, a sibling for our baby girl because we both grew up with siblings and know their significance and the happiness that they bring.
I am asking for help to pay for the IVF treatments. By doing IVF, all embryos are tested for this genetic condition ensuring we do not pass this to our future child. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please help us complete our family. Thank you.
