Campaign Story

My name is Jenae and I was born with a rare hormone disorder, called IHH. This wasn’t discovered until I turned 18 and was off to college without ever having a menstrual cycle. I was put on hormones and told to let them know when I was ready to have children. That time came in 2021 after my husband and I were ready. We uprooted our lives to enter fertility treatments, funded entirely on our own because our insurance does not cover fertility treatments. So, we started small with light stimulation injections and pills, but had no success. My doctor then advised us to start IVF. We again moved and found an IVF clinic. After 2 failed rounds with that clinic, we are in the process of searching for another clinic and doctor that can better suit our unique needs. But after paying for all of these treatments 100% out of pocket, it is going to take more than we have to try again. We don’t like to take handouts, but so many have asked how they can help and this is the only tangible thing that can help us along our journey. Thank you so much for your support.
