Campaign Story

My name is Amy, and I am a single woman excited to become a mom. I have always dreamt of being a mom, hopefully just as great as my own. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, often referred to as PCOS, which is making this journey a bit more difficult. PCOS is a condition which can cause increased levels of androgens, a male hormone present in women, which can stop ovulation. This condition affects as many as 12% of women of reproductive age. In addition, I have experienced massive internal bleeding due to the rupturing of an organ, which has caused the presence of scar tissue around the uterus. I survived this medical plight with hopes of being a mom always on my mind.
I am asking you to help me on my path by making a donation to this fundraiser. I am seeking assistance with the financial aspects of fertility treatments and would consider it a great honor and blessing if you could help. No donation is too small.
