Hello everyone!
If you’re on this page, you most likely know me, but if you don’t, I’m Megan and my husband, Cameron, and I have been trying to have a baby for 2 years. We unfortunately have not yet had a baby here earthside, we’ve had 2 angels. After my second miscarriage at nearly 20 weeks pregnant in February 2021, we were evaluated and told we have a great chance of having a healthy baby next time. We decided to start trying again around June, but life had other plans. My husband was diagnosed with a rare skin cancer called Merkel Cell Carcinoma. That entailed a major surgery and 5 weeks of radiation treatments for him. Unfortunately since his cancer was also present in his lymph nodes in his groin, he needed radiation in that area as well. That affects his fertility and we cannot conceive naturally for at least 18 months after his treatment. This has lead us to where we are now, undergoing medical fertility treatment.

We’re blessed to have decent insurance, which has covered the majority of both of our medical bills over the past year, but most insurances lack fertility coverage. Since we live in Pennsylvania, fertility coverage is not mandated here. I have a very small amount of coverage, but not much. Through our journey so far we have spend a few thousand on cryopreservation of sperm, testing and treatments that we’ve completed so far. We are now moving forward with IVF which can cost 15-18K for one cycle.

I am hoping to raise even a small amount to help offset the cost for us. I wholeheartedly appreciate anything that you can contribute to our cause. Even if unable to contribute, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers and send us good vibes for success on our journey and our rainbow coming soon!
