Campaign Story

Hi!

We’re the Crossley family! Mike and Michelle, and we can’t forget about our chihuahuas, Dozer and Lola. We have been together for 12 years and married for 5 years.

Our journey has been a long one, starting back in 2013 when I was pregnant with our first child. We were over the moon excited. Unfortunately, we lost the baby due to an ectopic pregnancy. Michelle lost her right tube during surgery.
In 2023, we decided to go see a fertility specialist.
After ten long years of infertility, I received my diagnosis: a unicorn uterus. (Yes, I’m half unicorn.) Okay, that’s not really what it means, but it helps me. It means I have a unicornuate uterus. A unicornuate uterus is a rare uterine abnormality, affecting about 0.1-0.4% of the population. This means that about one in 4,020 women have a unicornuate uterus. So, I lost my right tube due to an ectopic pregnancy, and my left side of my uterus doesn’t work.
My husband and I both want to start a family so bad, but with the cost of IVF being so expensive, this has caused a financial strain on my family. If you can donate, we would greatly appreciate it, even just $5 towards starting our family, we’d be forever grateful!
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story and thank you so much for donating. We greatly appreciate everything!
