Campaign Story

My name is Breonna, I’m married and have 4 beautiful children and unfortunately we lost our daughter when she was just a week old. During my pregnancy, I had a placenta abruption at 24 weeks. They put me in the best hospital they could and I stayed until she decided to come on her own at 26 weeks and during my emergency c section i had my tubes removed. She was born with no brain activity and was in the nicu with intensive care. If i would have known she wouldn’t have made it, I wouldn’t have removed them. Her body just could not fight any longer and she went to heaven October 2021. It was very very hard for my family and I because we had previously already lost a lot before this happened. My brother my only sibling was murdered in Aug 2018, he was only 19 years old. My husband lost his aunt the same day and my very close grandma died 3 months after that. Just 2 months before losing our daughter my very close uncle suddenly died which was hard as well. Overall as a person and family, we have taken losses after loss and truly are struggling with the loss of our daughter. We hope that we will be able to get an IVF treatment to get pregnant and have one more baby to complete us and help our mental health through our losses. That is what we would use the money for.
