Hi, we’re Cassie and Justin.

We met in high school, long before we knew what our future would hold. Through every season of life, Justin has been my constant—the hardworking, selfless man who somehow always knows how to hold everything together when life feels heavy. He is the glue of our little family and the person I have dreamed of raising children with for as long as I can remember.

I’m an author. Writing has always been where I turn when life feels too big for words. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart into stories, finding comfort in creating happy endings even when our own journey felt uncertain.

And then there’s Bo.

Bo is our ten-year-old dog, our first baby, our shadow, and our best friend. Through every appointment, every phone call, every heartbreak, he has curled up beside us and reminded us what unconditional love looks like. He has filled our home with so much joy while we’ve waited and hoped for the chance to welcome a child of our own.

For more than three years, we have been trying to grow our family.

What started with excitement and optimism slowly became a journey marked by doctor’s appointments, medications, procedures, waiting rooms, and heartbreak. We have completed more than a dozen medicated cycles and undergone two IUI procedures. Each month has carried hope, and each disappointment has brought a grief that is difficult to explain unless you’ve lived it yourself.

Infertility has a way of touching every part of your life. It steals joy from milestones you once imagined would come easily. It turns calendars into countdowns and makes you measure time in cycles, appointments, and “what ifs.”

Yet somehow, despite everything, we still believe in our future child.

After another unsuccessful IUI, our next step will be IVF.

IVF offers us hope, but it also comes with an overwhelming financial burden. One cycle costs approximately $20,000, and while we are doing everything we can to save and prepare, the reality is that the cost makes moving forward much more difficult than we ever imagined.

Asking for help does not come naturally to us. We’ve spent years carrying this journey quietly. But we have learned that sometimes hope requires community.

Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every word of encouragement helps bring us one step closer to the family we have dreamed about for so long.

We already have so much love waiting for this child. A father who would move mountains for them. A mother who has written a thousand stories while waiting for theirs to begin. A loyal dog who will undoubtedly become their first best friend.

We don’t know exactly when we’ll get to meet our baby.

But we know this: they are already wanted. They are already loved. And we will never stop fighting to bring them home.
