Campaign Story

My name is Nevaeh Skinner and my story begins with my first Ectopic pregnancy on my birthday, June 5, 2023. I was so devastated, stressed, and upset. It took 7 times of going to the hospital in pain for them to find out I was going through an ectopic pregnancy. At this time I was already 9 weeks pregnant didn’t ing this out. I was only 22 years old. had to really work through things with my relationship during it. The first ectopic was on my right side, however they were able to save the tube! Then October 15, 2023, I found out I was pregnant again. However at 5 weeks, I found out I was having another ectopic pregnancy, but it was on my left side. They ended up taking out my tube this time only leaving me with one tube that already had an ectopic in it. The doctor said the likely hood of me having a valid pregnancy was 30% at this rate. This devastation to me and husband truly was super hard for us both. Until, I found out about IVF. I truly think this could help us have the baby we have been reaching for.
