Campaign Story

My name is Ashley and I am 38 years old. When I was 34 I was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pains that led to emergency surgery. During the surgery, my doctors had to make a judgment call that resulted in the removal of both my fallopian tubes and one of my ovaries. Having had no children prior to this, I was devastated when I discovered that my ability to conceive naturally had been taken from me, but I had to trust that God had a plan. I knew that the only way to have children of my own was through the IVF process. Fast forward a couple of years; I met Jeremy, the most unique, smart, caring, and funny guy I had ever met. Jeremy was 40 years old without children as well and last year in 2021 we were married with the desire to start a family and knew that it would be a challenge due to my medical past, my age, and fact that I was also a full-time college student still working full time. Our time line was to wait until after I finished college but we wanted to get some information first. We began to see a fertility doctor to get an idea of where we stood and we found out that my AMH levels were lower than they should be for my age due to my medical history. For those of you who do not know, AMH is the Anti-Mullerian Hormone Test that measures the ovarian reserve or egg count in a woman. My test has been ranging between .36 and 1.05. The normal level for a woman of my age is 1.5. Upon discovering this, Jeremy and I made a decision to move our timeline up in hopes of increasing our chances for success. With no children of our own, Jeremy and I long to have a beautiful baby that is a part of us both. A child that we can raise to be the best versions of ourselves. We are asking for help to make our dreams come true as the cost is an obstacle that we need help to overcome and time is not our friend. We appreciate the generosity of those who are willing to help us make our dreams come true and pray for each and every couple out there that struggles with their infertility issues. God bless you and thank you!

I wish I could do more for you guys. My wife and I tried for over a year for our first. Our situation was different from yours, but we know the pain. Never give up hope. We hope to give more!
