My name is Ashley and I am 38 years old. When I was 34 I was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pains that led to emergency surgery. During the surgery, my doctors had to make a judgment call that resulted in the removal of both my fallopian tubes and one of my ovaries. Having had no children prior to this, I was devastated when I discovered that my ability to conceive naturally had been taken from me, but I had to trust that God had a plan.
